Strange Browser Behaviour

I've attached a screen shot of the really shitty thing my browsers do whenever I login to post on here.

Haven't a clue why, or how to fix it, but it's bloody annoying!!

Any ideas folks.

It does it on a Windows XP PC, a Vista PC and a laptop running Linux.
It does it in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera!

Haven't had a problem on any other forums or websites.

You have switched to Lite mode.

Clear your cookies and you will be fine.

To do this in IE I think Firefox is the same

Internet OPtions
Delete Cookies

Didn't work though!

In Firefox, I cleared my cookies and all the other bits (passwords, offline web data) still get a useless bleeding white screen when I log in.
Opera still does the same too.

WTF is lite mode, I don't even like lite beer!!

Lite mode is aimed at those people using handheld devices like phones.

on my version there is a link at the bottom of the homepage where you can change to normal mode. can you see that?

It is not there on lite mode. I tried that before suggesting to clear his cookies.

Well, when I close the browser and re-open it, I can see the forum in all its glory, but when I login to post, I get this (sh)ite mode.

Weird.
Frustrating cos it means I can only post once, then 've got to start from scratch again.

Just tried to change it in the Mod admin panel

Right, fixed it (I think).

I found the button, drop down thingy, and switched from classic to modern mode, and it seems to work now.
