Stopping clock

Stopping clock would cause problems when games are scheduled to be played in sync, such as relegation or promotion deciders. You could have games reaching full time up to 20 minutes after one another.

You never get more than about 56/57 mins of ball in play over 90 mins.....added on time is a joke.......fergie always gets more added time and that's cos he moans.....ffs

Fergie time only takes effect if Man U are drawing or losing. If Man U are winning the clock stops dead 90 mins.

FA Regulation 694(vi)sub 891 reads " A game shall comprise two halves of 45 minutes per half plus an undetermined allowance of stoppage time to be decided by the umpire.This allows for a 15 minute break for essential halftime oranges,hairdriers,and a chance to take advantage of the facilities."
