The fans moaning are the same sort of twunts (of every club) who email the Football League Show to declare "Fantastic result for the Cherries/Magpies/Cobblers/insert team name here today: we ARE going up as Champions" after one game...

Absolutely agree with this thread. Looking back a year we had got one point from Walsall home and Brentford away and were about to go in to the worst week of the season with 2 defeats, 11 goals conceded and 3 sendings off. We were all over the place. We already have more points than we did from our first 5 games last year and are playing some fantastic stuff. Even at home you would normally be happy with a draw when you go down to 10 men and then your opponents equalise with half an hour still left. The fact that we are so gutted shows how well we played with 10 men. Yesterday was some of the best football we have played in a long time so why not focus on the good things.

Overall, ignoring their indiscipline which needs to be sorted, Greer and Sparrow both look quality signings (also I think that Greer's third game out with be the LDV so they are both back for Plymouth). Ankergren will do fine, it was just a one off mistake. The defence overall yesterday were good, the only goals coming from a penalty and a poor goalkeeping error and the midfield looks very exciting even without Sparrow and one or two more to come. Murray and Barnes both played very well. It is clear we have a really good team and a disappointing late equaliser won't change that. Who wouldn't have taken four points from the first two games if offered?

Totally agree. We dominated today, even with ten men we passed the ball better. We will do well this season, there is no doubt about that.

So true. Ten men for almost half the game too.

Let us hope lack of discipline doesn't do for our chances......so far 2 reds and 6 yellows isn't it?

Dunno why the yellows thing comes into it (they were saying this on the radio too) - 6 yellows is fine in 3 games really - average. It's the reds that are costing us.

O.K.,but at he rate we collect them, witness last season, they do add up.

Firstly I am as gutted as the next man as to the throwing away of 2 points today against a side which battled well but were not in our class when the truth be known. Yes the Greer sending off/penalty and the Comical Casper performance has soured things - and will of course be debated elsewhere - but lets put things into a real perspective here, we played some delightful football today in spells and with the addition of a few players over the next few weeks I am predicting a bloody good season with good football and a sniff of the play-offs.

now sort yourselves out and get onboard.

totally agree we are in a play-off position NOW and things will get better.
