Copying the players? They are always playing with their phone when the cameras are anywhere near...

Different reasons though. The players do it for an excuse to not talk to the media as they pass them. Civvies do it to say to their mates, "Look at me, I'm only telly again but not Crimewatch or jeremy kyle this time."
