I've been watching Sky Sports News and they seem to be showing all the goals, except ours!

Port Vale V Bournemouth - yes
Posh V Hartlepool - yes
and a load of others (Grimsby, Wed, Brizzie)

but not us!

Don't know if they will show them later?

BTW

The BBC has our correct position at the moment as 4th (well 4th=)

For some reason we are 5th (behind Luton) on Sky's tables. We both won 3-1. (B comes before L and we were away).

Exactly what I was thinking Fluffster.

If only the season went on for another few weeks!

If only we had managed to keep Sidwell (who scored today) instead of Barrett or Kitson.

Mind you we won 3-1 away from home this time last year!

We won 3-1 in Lancashire this time last year and we conceeded a sloppy late goal on what should have been a 3-0 win.

We had the opponants complaining that ref won us the game, he had sent a player off just before we scored our first.

It was the first game we played in our new all black away kit.

If we draw our next home game 0-0, Buzza & Marvin, you can start to say it's like deja vue

We were on Sky Sports News just before 11.00. The pen happened a bit quick - looked a bit dodgy though :D :D

2 headed goals from Knight looked good :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

First Knight goal. Cross to far post. Diving Knight header.

Second goal. Watson free kick in the (watto/zammo position). He lifts it higher over everyone. Cullip rushes behind everyone, heads it high across goal to the far past and Knight nails another diving header. A superbly worked out goal.

Watto back on form in the second.

Now that doesn't surprise me!

And, rather worryingly, all of our goals were scored by players no longer at the club - that could also be the case this year as well.

Let's hope Dick signs up his namesake to break that particular spell.

It happened so quick on SSN (just before 2am) that I think they may have only showed one of Leons goals (and that was after saying all the goals coming up!)
Still, never mind. Meridian may show some of the good stuff on Tues nights prog. 11.30pm Soccer Night. Highlights from tonights matches in the 1st round of the Carling Cup, including Bristol Rovers v Brighton.
Then again, it is Meridian!

I think he's on about the Burnley game last year

That's where the similarity ends, apart from the shirt colour

The comparisson is the fans complaining that the ref won us the match.

Last year a player sent off this year a penalty that they say we should not have had. And a GK who should have been sent off (according to them not seen it so no view).

Roberts should have definitely been booked but never sent off, the player was going away from goal.

If it's any consolation to the Latics I thought the officials were poor as well, I remember doing my nut at a couple of desicions. To say the ref won the game for us though is just bad losing and an insult to our good performance.
