There was a real scare for Boro in the opening minute of the 2nd half as Lee Flynn, unusually not looking to be enjoying himself, tee-d up Scott Ramsay. But the sluggish frontman was well contained by Jason Goodliffe all night, and this time there was no let up as the defender put in an excellent saving tackle.

Lost 1-0. Was a poor game though. Stevenage had LIONEL PEREZ in goal. What a come down for him.

Stevenage controlled the game and deservedly won 1-0, but Boro piled on the pressure at the end and probably should have had a penalty three minutes from the end when Danny Simmonds was tripped in the box, but the ref was never going to give it at that stage of the game.

Yet again Boro made a conference side battle all the way with resolute defending without being able to vreate too much up front.

It's looking good for them to get into the Conference South, the main Conference will probably be beyond tyhem this season.

Good though - andf the derbies with Crawley are a laugh.
