He's being nice to you, and you still find fault with him.

On the contrary. Nobody at all has found fault with anything he has said.

We just still think he is a bell-end DESPITE his nice words.

Judging by how much Vydra's gone missing at weekends this year, Parish should probably look into the possibility.

He should have said you're a bunch of drama queens, and be done with it !

Not at all. His comments are reasonable. And he's welcome to call us what he likes. A few of us have had a say.

This is the man who knew the truth about Poogate and chose to sit on it. He thinks that we are a “good club”, but was happy to see the club’s good name sullied.

This is the man who was happy let Palace fans (and credit to them) pay St John’s Ambulance after Palace exited their second administration.

I suspect that Tony Bloom would have acted differently in both scenarios.

Unlike the bus driver.

From the man who said 'Palace are a mid to top end Premier league club'... a couple of weeks ago...

Really don't see what he's said wrong here. He's right. Love it or hate it, games vs Palace are definitely much more exciting than most games. I want to play Palace next year, and it's much better if we're both in the top division.

Main snippets...

"They're a good club."

"They're run really well."

"When we play them it's a bit of a circus. It's a tricky thing to manage cos of the rivalry between the fans"

"You're not a proper football club unless you got a proper rival."

"If they make it into the top flight that will certainly be two massive, massive games next year. They're the kind of games you want to be part of and play in."

"I wouldn't go quite as far as wishing them all the best, but if they do get promoted then it's another couple of huge games to look forward to next year."

Has he actually registered himself with the FA?

One interesting aspect of this, I guess, is that Palace fans from time to time are eager to tell us how badly run we are, and also how well Parish et al run Palace.

Now the man who they say runs their club well has publicly stated that we are also run well.

So, does Steve Parish know how to run a football club well or not?

See, we can do that on here...that's because it's a Brighton and Hove Albion forum. Don't know if you noticed that?

Precious? That's quite funny, I recently saw a bunch of palace fans on Twitter get really offended when someone made a joke about the description of the holmesdale fanatics. "Individuality...unity..." That was funny.

Easy for him to say that when he knows full well the PL and FA have agreed to not let us get promoted.

3rd season in the prem and an FA CUP FINAL.You tell me:ffsparr:

You miss the point by a fair old margin, but thanks for trying to add something to the discussion anyway.

I never doubted it. Despite my utter disdain for almost everything to do with your football club, I've never doubted Parish et al's administration of the club, finally bringing some stability and financial wherewithal to Palace.

So, I trust now that this man so admired by Palace fans has rubber-stamped the way the Albion is administered, we'll not be hearing Palace fans suggesting otherwise any longer.
