I think there's too many issues at a club like Newcastle for Coppell to be interested. The club is rotten to the core, although they did play fairly well on Saturday. Coppell would get them back in the Premiership and keep them there, for sure.

If our Simon Jordan hadn't had such a public falling-out with Coppell just after his start as Chairman, Coppell might have found his way back to Palace instead of the treadmill of deadbeats we've had since Dowie.
