I find this a strange decision. They have struggled to score goals but he had his top striker 'bent' sold then his next best striker 'gyan' left on deadline day. He hasn't been given the time to rebuild his team and get a decent striker in Jan!!

That's six points a season not necessarily guaranteed for Man Utd anymore.

I view this as a good thing.

My money is on Lee Clark, got to be worth a few quid at the bookies ?

Doubt it somehow.

dont understand why you let a manager build his team over the summer but then dont let him let it bed in. they havent had a gerat start but not awful either. you look at the fixtures before the end of the year, including Wlves and Blackburn, and wonder why they didnt give him another month.

Adkins wouldn't go. He's got 4 1/2 years on his contract here.

Got to be 2 horse race between Hughes and O'Neill I would have thought.

Although following the ex United theme I think it is a matter of time before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer takes over a premier league team so maybe a good outside shout.

I would bet on Hughes if the odds were better.

Clark is doing well at Huddersfield, but while he did play for Sunderland he left under a cloud when caught wearing a T-shirt saying "Sad Mackem Bastards".
