don't go along with this multiple statue idea going on at arsenal

I think west ham & leeds have got it right with Bobby Moore & Billy Bremner

so who would you like to see at the Amex

or do you feel there's not enough history around the place to have one yet

my nomination would be

Charlie Webb

Erm, there's FOUR players in that statue outside Upton Park including one who never played for West Ham.

The one just of Bobby Moore is at Wembley.

We should follow Fulham's example and have one of Michael Jackson

Second vote for Charlie Webb. Can't think of anyone else who would be as appropriate really.

There was talk of an "unknown fan" years ago, really think it should be that. Someone to represent football fans as a whole.

I often wonder who these statues are actually for. Does anyone really get any pleasure from them? Do they really enhance the memory or reputation of the people they depict? They seem rather tokenistic and pointless to me.

I like that idea. It's been mentioned on here before that a bronze scale modell of the goldstone could be popular. I think it would be a nice touch, such was the way we left it.

Wardy has a special place in the hearts of any Albion fan of a certain age. Put simply, it is now 30 years since he last played for us and we still sing about him. Oh , and he still holds the record for the most goals in a season and has been a staunch supporter of the REMF. I cant think of anyone more deserving.

In my own strange world
There have been some outstanding individuals who have helped the Albion,Dick Knight,Tony Bloom etc. but maybe a generic statue of Albion fans who kept the club alive and campaigned for many long years to help win the struggle for the Amex.Power to the People!
