Interesting to see that the xG (and other stats) are being used as weapons against the gambling cheats 
Not sure how I feel about this - would the number of chances we create vs the number of goals we score cause us to be investigated? Hopefully before this becomes an established system in the PL we have already attracted a 20+ per season striker, because we are already a top-six team

At the same time, anything that stops gamblers from rigging games to get their payouts has to be a good thing. Boxing (and other sports) has suffered in the past, I believe, from athletes 'taking a dive' to benefit the bookies or gamblers - it would be heartbreaking to see that creep into football at any significant level.
