Great result either way. About time a bit of karma took place in our favour.

i thought we were 50/50 till like the 60th minute. Most of their shots were from outside the box etc and Kuszczak was more than capable, a great display again tonight. Strangely we were sloppy with our passing in the final third which seemed strange as we are usually good with those passes. Who made the mistake that forced the Kuszczak double save? was it Hammond? That was a brilliant piece of keeping and defending from El-Abd. I have criticized El-Abd many times but against Cardiff tonight, and against Hull, he has displayed clinical tackling and a cool head when needed. Great performance from Brighton, oh and Lopez is class as usual.

2 things I would like to point out.
We defended as if our life depended on it but Cardiff didn't have a striker who was quick enough to run around the side or our CB'S.
Yes tomaz had a fantastic game but most of his saves came from distance.
