At away games, I always prefer to stand. QPR was good because everybody was standing.
I hate sitting at the footy, does anyone actually like sitting down?
Pisses me off when stewards tell you to sit or somebody behind you insists on sitting down.
Iam sure this has been done, but what is everyones opinion?

Always stand.

I see why some might need to sit down but it still pisses me off when they ask you to sit down. It's gay.

always much prefer to stand, but feel a bit bad if there's some old guy behind me who needs to sit, etc. so won't then. or preferably move somewhere else where i can...

The people behind me stand up as well so no problem there.

I sit down when asked to do so but within a minute or two someone starts singing

'Stand up if you want Falmer' so we all stand again.

I spend the majority of home matches standing up and as long as I can at away matches before getting told off.

Bring back terracing at Falmer (when we get it),standing is by far the best!As paying customers,I believe all should have the right to choose weather they stand or sit-is it not our human rights??!!We all know the reasons for compulsory seating (or was it just a recommendation??)but also know that controlled terracing is both practical and safe, safer than a big surge over dangerous seating arrangements by far.It would also solve the problem of crowd interaction ie.those who don't want to be near people shouting and yelling won't have to be,and those of us who wanna shout and yell can do so without upsetting others.I get very involved and passionate at games, but dont like upsetting the old girl next to me with her pacamac on,and I'm sure she don't wanna be next to me either! So everyones a winner---wots the problem?:drink:

Much prefer standing but I was in the front row on Saturday and some whining hag was shouting at us to sit down even when the players were coming out.

Had steps/raised level behind me at QPR so I stood for the 90mins, only sat down whilst eating my pie (which I missed the goal for! )

So it's your fault ;)

If you had sat down again we would have got another goal.

:lolol: so very true, I eat about 3x my body weight but it goes in one and and straight out the other!
The pie was hot and gorgeous (pukka pie), Chicken Balti if I remember correctly. I saw the injury time board go up and thought i'd beat the cue, walking back up the steps and suddenly we scored, by the time I got to my seat Cullip had ran back to our own half so I missed the goal

Well my nan goes home and away every year but she can't stand. It was really hard for her on Saturday. She had to stand for 90 minutes. She's 80 in two weeks time.

I want to stand, always. However we should consider other supporters who want to sit down. Sometimes she doesn't want to go because she gets so annoyed that people don't sit down. The Albion need everyone's money.

Normally she will go to the front but when you have to sit in your allocated seat you can't do that. It was a big game on Saturday and everyone who went should have been able to watch it in comfort.

One of the good arguments to bring back terracing me thinks. At least that way those who wish to sit (for whatever reason) can do so in the stands, while the rest of us stand in the other bits.
