How do you work that out?!There are only 9 unsold seats in total for both showings....
Said it before, say it again, the club/makers fully deserve somebody with access to HK NOWTV to just upload the damn thing to multiple social media streams and get it out there. Pathetic state of affairstotally given up on this ever being on general release.
shite show!
What like Lilo and Stitch or Mission Impossible. ? Ha !totally given up on this ever being on general release.
shite show!
Isn't it being streamed in France on Canal+ or something?! Crazy we can't get rights to make it even PAYG available via our website. Enough Brighton fans at £5 a pop would be better than nothing for the producers surely?!What like Lilo and Stitch or Mission Impossible. ? Ha !
It has been shown multiple times in several Brighton venues now (Duke of Yorks) and multiple times now at the club in the Terrace and in lounges. Getting distribution for this sort of stuff isn't easy.
earlier on in the thread i think @Bozza shared that a Netflix distribution deal was in the offing so looking forward to that if it happens.
PS: There's a showing at the Terrace next Wednesday. For free. Its hardly been hidden away if you want to see it. (although i think they cancelled an earlier showing due to lack of demand)

Oh that's okay then because every Brighton fan lives in Brighton and Sussex is a very small countyIt has been shown multiple times in several Brighton venues now (Duke of Yorks) and multiple times now at the club in the Terrace and in lounges.
Not sure you are being fair. Unless you know what’s holding things upPretty sure as a club we've overcome bigger challenges to be fair....
Of course not and as i said - distribution deals take time, and there's a strong sense on here that a streaming one is close.Oh that's okay then because every Brighton fan lives in Brighton and Sussex is a very small county
Yeah and the Japanese can just jump on a plane and fly back the next day like they do for games. Nothing stopping themOh that's okay then because every Brighton fan lives in Brighton and Sussex is a very small county
I know your default is to defend the club against everything at all costs, but you surely can see how much of a farce this documentary and its (non) release have become?Of course not and as i said - distribution deals take time, and there's a strong sense on here that a streaming one is close.
I imagine the club and the producers want to get it out there. in the mean time the club is showing it at the Amex.
i'm not surprised its taken a while.
Is it even solely down to the club? Surely Matt Lorenzo (and his production company) would own copyright so would be SINGING any distribution/commercial deals?Pretty sure as a club we've overcome bigger challenges to be fair....
over 3 years though? That is a complete shit show!Of course not and as i said - distribution deals take time, and there's a strong sense on here that a streaming one is close.

Have I missed something as people keep banging on about the club? It is a Matthew Lorenzo Productions film.2 years is very long. I understand these things take time but as someone who has worked in legal for a media organisation, it shouldn't take this long. If it is nearly closed with Netflix as suggested, great. But to have really capitalised on it like others did, it needed to be out there last year.
I'd suggest one of two things has happened: The club is asking too much to the streaming platforms or there isn't as much interest to take it on as they thought there would be.
If it is Club sponsored or sanctioned I am very much expecting the delay to be the wrangling over the directors cut and omission of the Poyet years.Have I missed something as people keep banging on about the club? It is a Matthew Lorenzo Productions film.
