The makers must really be kicking themselves that they didn't get this out a year ago. A documentary on the meteoric rise of a football club doesn't work so well when it ends with them being back in decline again.

Maybe they could just change the title to 'FALL'

But any successful manager we have will be seen to be a shoe-in for any top 6 job.

By the time they've filmed the next manager sequence, edited the bits and bobs together and got further clearance...it will become out of date.

To be honest I think the moment has passed for this movie- if it were to be released it should’ve been before the Europa League. Not sure what the context is behind the delays but seems like little more than a well intentioned project stuck in Development Hell.

Why are people blaming the club, they didn't make the documentary? Thought the latest on it was the film makers needed clearance on the PL footage? Maybe it turns out it's not viable given the cost of licensing and size of audience?
