My son's football training was fun! Rain was okay then the lightning started...home we went. Driving in that was interesting!
I would say not for long, but being so far north, you might get away with it.Just moderate precipitation caressing my grapes here in the affluence of Steyning.
A poncho won't cut it today.
The only saving grace is it's raining so hard you can't help but assume 'it can't rain like this all day'.
So we are looking at about an hours worth of rain.I can confirm that biblical rain has reached Hove.

Travelling at 20mph.
Gods own Sussex??I would say not for long, but being so far north, you might get away with it.
Easing off and brightening up here in God's own Sussex, and I just bitch slapped the kids at Frustration, so things are looking up.
It should be at the stadium by 11, then away by 12.I'm right by the seafront, so those in higher areas may have been first to receive the sprinkling.
Certainly enough rain that there'll be a few tweets from someone safety-related about being careful approaching the stadium, I'd imagine.
Clearly, he made Better Sussex, then decided he needed Lesser Sussex just to underline how good Better Sussex is.Gods own Sussex??
red or white? I'm looking at my first decent crop!

We got redduns. 18 bottles last year, expecting double that this year with more bunches and fatter grapes.
It is MUGGY AS **** out there at present. Hope we have a storm soon or public transport will be deeply unpleasant.
When you don't have to worry about driving in heavy rain, with spray flying into your windscreen, surrounded by idiots who can't cope with the conditions and are driving too fast. When is public transport not unpleasant?
