How? That stand has a unique shape and was still standing on my visit there for a drab 0-0 in 98.

As for this one I think it's finally an appearance for Griffin Park.

Indeed it is... only pro club that I've been in the Directors lounge for a beer!

Anyway, I am retiring now, good fun but the pay was woeful. If anyone wants to take it forward please feel free.

Cheers all!

I’ve got a load of pics like that. Once the huge WS started going up, it was majestic.

I remember a NSC poster mentioning at that time, that he was unofficially planting plugs of Viper’s Bugloss on the land directly to the south. Was it you Jack?

Indeed it was me. I thought I'd do a bit of Guerrilla Gardening! I sourced a load of Viper's Bugloss (Blue flowers), and Wild Carrot (White flowers), and sowed batches of them all along Falmer Way. The vision was a permanent summer display of blue and white stripes of flowers from Falmer Road to the Stadium. As perennial wild flowers take two years before they flower, unfortunately, before they reached the flowering stage, the whole strip had been ripped up and re-landscaped. I should have used annuals! It always pleases me when I see the odd Viper's Bugloss or Wild Carrot around the Stadium, as the chances are that they would have been from the seed I sowed!

Strange names for children. Still, Jack Straw, you name your offspring whatever you want mate - exactly how odd is the lad?
