does anyone else think it might take two years for GP to build his squad. dont think he will be able to bring in enough good players for promotion next year, but hopefully im wrong. and it seems its still hard for us to keep players even with falmer on its way.

No.
All players have a price and Norwich came in with a good deal

Even when we are at Falmer we will not be able to keep players from going to bigger clubs. Even Manchester United couldn't keep Ronaldo from going to Madrid so anyone who thinks we will go to Falmer and never sell our best players is deluding themselves. The key difference now is that with Falmer on the way we are under no compulsion to sell so we can hold out for better deals for players and the money will go into improving the squad rather than just into funding Falmer and keeping the club going.

Everyone outside the top division is primarily a selling club. Nobody can turn down a lucrative offer for a player outside of the Premiership as the revenue streams are nowhere near as big.

Most in the prem are selling clubs.

Even Pool and Man U are slipping into that group with financial peril looming
