To be honest, a bit shit

The exact words I was going to post. We weren't trusted to have pints in a pint glass or pool cue chalk just because. Did catch up with some friends who I didn't know would be there but that and the 15 quid Bacon Cheeseburger were about the only positives.

I certainly wouldn't bother with the next one.

I did not enter the raffle but still had to endure you chatting shit and showing your stab wounds to any Sunderland fan will to take a look.

My mate was involved in a pretty bad motorcycle accident about 40 years ago and was in hospital for months, needless to see he’s got some impressive scars on his legs.
Not a Christmas party or any sort drunken meet up can occur without him dropping his strides on the middle of the dance floor or while he’s propping up the bar 🤣

As much as I like a meet up with my fellow fans im trying to avoid this as much as I can esp away

7 quid a pint to drink out of a plastic glass takes the absolute piss. I've become used to this kind of shit at the ground but there's no need for it in a pub.

Plastic glasses should be reserved outside of major sporting events to Student unions and dodgy boozers with protective glass across the bar area.

It was how I imagined a pre season tour to Florida would be- wannabe American sterile bo**ox!

No Bloom (I know he wasn't promised but a 20 minute hi would have been appreciated), no free pint (noted Newcastle gave 2 to all 50 thousand on Sunday), the expensive beer on offer was in plastic cups, shit and expensive American food, no atmosphere bar 3, I think it was, bits of Seagulls bunting, and a raffle where most of the prizes were bucket hats.

Oh and a 15 minute walk from/to Liverpool Street.

Really trying to work out what the point was- unless club were taking a cut of bar takings?!

I was a bit baffled by the “direct trains to the stadium” comment.

I won a bucket hat! It was a bit pricey but then again we were in London! We had a couple of shots (fireballs) as it was buy one get one free. I was quite happy after a fireball and thrashing Spurs - a pretty good end to the season!

I’d say there was deffo more atmosphere at the one before Leicester that I attended but it was ok or me. I came into Liverpool St from Stansted and saw loads of Orient and Charlton fans. Quick walk to the Sports Bar - beer very expensive but nabbed a table where I could charge my phone(s) and the raffle prizes were very good though I was unsuccessful. Nip back to Liverpool St to join a lot of Spurs fans on the overground to WHL.
If you were with others I get there would be much better venues but as a Billy no mates on this occasion I had a chat with a few other Albion fans and a banana😊

He was in Brussels, watching USG win the Belgian league.
