Jean Todt. What a surprise. They had a chance to elect what i would consider a more partial candidate but yet again the F.I.A show what they are made of.

You obviously didn't read the article fully.

"FIA president Jean Todt was also in Paris for another World Motor Sport Council meeting but had excluded himself from the process to avoid a conflict of interests arising from his previous role as Ferrari team boss. Deputy Graham Stoker presided over the Paris hearing."

Would the decision have been the same if Ferrari and Alonso were frontrunners in both the individual and team Championships?

As it is we're probably looking at a 3 horse race between Hamilton, Vettel and Webber, and a straight fight for the team title between Red Bull and McLaren, so Ferrari are unlikely to win anything, and I expect this was a contributory factor to this outcome.

The FIA and FOTA HAVE to get this resolved for next season. Most of the drivers and all of the spectators and fans want proper racing between drivers.

Drive by abusing
Wouldn't have anything to do with the huge amount of money Ferrari generate for formula one & their constant threats to break away from the FIA would it?

In my computer
The Bathurst 1000 (although I still call it the Hardie Ferodo or sometimes Tooheys) is the greatest race, in its modern form its is truly fantastic, but even greater still are some of the old races especially my racing god Peter Brock...it pisses all over formula 1 easily...

Le Mans 24 Hours is equally as impressive, reduced a few formula 1 drivers to gibbering wrecks...

edited to add we still watch the F1 though...just to make sure its crap like...
