Saw spiritualized at the concorde 2 last night.

They were once again fantastic, played most of their new album with a few old ones thrown in for good measure and they really rocked.

Only complaint is the concorde 2 is so f***ing hot.

It's a bit like a school hall isn't it? a bit echo'ey?

Looking forward to Wednesday, was it all still 'drone' driven? or have they gone too rocky again like they last tried in the mid 90s?

I think the Concorde is a great place to see bands, it does get hot though, i agree.

Serves you right for liking Spiritualized i spose.

NO it was still drone driven although I know what you mean on the odd occasion the rocky side started filtering through altohugh even that they do very well. It would have been so much better not at the concorde 2 though. shit venue.

The support act were pretty good too although I can't remember their name now.

Dome is the best!
Although the concorde2 gets hot it also has what's known as atmosphere and it's that that keeps me going back for more!
If it's too hot go outside for a bit or go and get some free water!

I like the Dome, Going to see Elbow at the corn exchange, never been to a gig there so that should be interesting

The Pavilion Theatre is pretty good, though the bar is a little on the small side ..

Yeah thats them, they were pretty good. A bit Hillbilly on a couple of occasions but generally an enjoyable sound
