It can look great in the right property but needs careful thought the photo of the lights down the corridor I suggest is to heavy the double set is to much in my option would have looked better all set to one side of the corridor with storm pendant lights looped to the centre

Unless you have very high ceilings it looks naff also we charge a lot to install galv conduit it's not a cheap option.

Am a sparkie and think the 1st pic on original post looks good. 2nd pic looks too much like work as in it reminds me of work so wouldn't want it in my home.
