All players will take time to adapt to Gus' way of thinking, even coming in domestically it takes time to adapt. Orlandi came from Swansea, who we all know play fabulous football and he has taken a bit of time to settle.

My worry is that there is likely to be any number of lower La Liga teams willing to offer Lopez and Vicente opportunities back in Spain. Hope Lopez commits to us, Vicente would be a bonus but very doubtful.

This thread shos the OP doesn't understand football. A lot of people could see Spanish Dave's class early on, and that he just needed some time to bed in.

Is he quick? No.
Can he shoot? No.
Is he skillful? No.
Have we seen anything to suggest he's a dead ball specialist? No.
Is he physical?
Is there an end product? No.

Deadline day panic buy, and yet another waste of space in an overcrowded group of mediocre midfield players. His best spell in La Liga? The best part of 5 years ago now for a mid table side, before he soon became a fringe player.

Friday August 31st, the day Poyet killed our season, dismantling a midfield that was looking good up until that point. :nono:

This is destined for NSC Gold.

I wonder where Withdean Wanderer is now?

Wanking into a crusty sock over a picture of the ginger one from Girls Aloud? You know how he always backs a winner....

Yesterday evening? In the pub.

So it looks like I got this one wrong. While Dave is quite capable of fairly anonymous games, he seems to be capable of significantly influencing them (Burnley, Cardiff and Birmingham, all examples of games he's scored/set up goals in while being fairly quiet otherwise. Good to see.

Big deal, I got one wrong - it's going to happen if you're bold enough to judge a player early on. On the other side of the coin, I wrote off Harley, Dobbie and Hoskins straight away and was right there, so excuse me if I'm not that bothered at making a mistake, at least we seem to be winning games now.

Seem to relish in predicting failure, with no evidence, and taking credit if it all goes wrong as predicted.

It's not the point of you getting it wrong, it's the style and manner you accomplished that in.
That's why everyone is pointing the finger and laughing at you, now.

Harley and Dobbie perhaps but Hoskins? He hasn't exactly had the greatest of luck with us.

It is fine to make a mistake, yes. AS LONG AS YOU LEARN FROM IT. That means stopping being such an outrageous dick the minute something goes wrong all in the name of attention-seeking.

Thanks for clarifying, always nice to know I can rely on you if ever I need someone to state the f***ing obvious.

Far from. Would much rather every player I think is shit turns out to be good, as it would probably mean a successful BHAFC team on the brink of promotion...
