WELL looking forward to this, any thoughts?

Will definitely be Spain's toughest test yet, and I wouldn't be shocked if they went out, should Ronaldo play as we know he can.

Spain are apparently quite "drained" at the moment and likely to start Pedro upfront.

I'm most looking forward to Ronaldo crying so I'll be very annoyed if Portugal win.

Great article in the Guardian today about Spain and how they defend and also how difficult they find it these days as every team sits so deep with so many players behind the ball.....yet they still win (their competitive games)

Their answer to stopping Ronaldo is to keep the ball from him. Simple really. I hope Spain go through as I wish to see a Spain Germany final but I would not be surprised if Portugal win.

Portugal made hard work of getting past a poor Czech side (worse than england imo). they get the same possession, time or sight of goal against the Spanish, so i would be quite surpised at anything other than a convincing Spain win.

Postiga's not fit so the carthorse Almeida will play, that's not great news for Portugal. Bringing Varela or Quaresma in and play Ronaldo through the middle.
I hope Portugal don't play defensive as they did against Germany.

Always enjoy the first game in a tournament after England go out. None of those annoying people who suddenly have an interest in football but suddenly try and join in when England are at a major championship but know absolutely feck all about it.

In fairness the same thing happens with other sports, and also there are some people sat not far from me who attend most games and still appear to know feck all about football.

Hopefully Portugal will do the business but everything for them centres around whether Ronaldo produces the goods

I had £20 on a spain germany final at 10/1 pre tournament so am wanting a spain german final... However think portugal may just pip spain...

Some great odds on ronaldo to score portugal to win 2-1, 2-0 55/1

I actually think alot rests on Moutinho and Meireles - and they've been producing the goods so far. I really can see a Portugal win here.

Can't have Spain making history by winning three consecutive international tournaments so Portugal for me.

Will be backing Spain all the way. Should be a decent game, but can see Spain getting 70% possession again and winning one or two nil.

Ronaldo is supposedly "on fire" this tournament. 3 goals from 30 chances suggests not. Needs to perform big time tonight, but expect him to be his usual self obsessed self, and whinge, whine and moan at his team mates until he scores. Portugal could win 3-0 tonight, but if Ronaldo hasn't scored then he'll have a face like thunder.

And I really rather dislike Pepe and Nani
