Have just spent a pleasant afternoon with a large group of Pompey fans who are staying at the Hotel Guadalete. However, feel outnumbered - any other Brighton fans staying here?

I live in Gibraltar and was there when the team arrived today. A few observations:
1) Most the team were pretty good with signing autographs and having photos taken. Unfortunately Bridge seemed a bit disinterested he just walked past and started speaking on his mobile.
2) Gus and Charlie were on form as always
3) I was speaking to the organiser of the trip out to Spain and he informed me that the Pompey game is now very doubtful as it is very difficult to keep the players they have out here on trial. Fingers crossed it goes ahead!
4) Unfortunately i did not manage to spot any new signings and definatley no Owen or Heskey!!!
5) The young prospect from France Balmy was not with the squad
6) Vicente struggles with his English still but signed my shirt
7) Finally there were about 39 of them on the plane including 23 players and 16 staff!!

Gus spoke yesterday of 24 players - only 23 travelled so presumably these:
Kuszczak, Ankergren, Brezovan
Calderon, Bruno
Bridge, Painter
Greer, Dunk,Elphick, elAbd
LuaLua, Noone, Buckley
Dicker, Sparrow, Vicente, Bridcutt, Harley
CMS, Barnes, Agdestein, Hoskins
The omissions seem to be Sampayo and Rodgers who have been with the first team squad and Balmy who the Argus said we hope to sign "in Spain" next week. Maybe he isn't signing?
Wouldn't be massively concerned if the Pompey game doesn't happen. If the triallists refuse to stay after getting a tonking by Gibralter then maybe it is just one small step closer to liquidation.

To be honest guys did not count them through was too busy chatting with them. Was just quoting what I was told so you may be right.
Also Bournemouth are also over here training at San roque which is between gib and Marbella.
Well they are going to be working hard it was 42 degrees yesterday and bloody hot today also!
