if people drove properly, then there wouldnt be a problem, ive driven through it at 80 and not once did i think i need to slow down, its most likely angry drivers trying to cut people up
The gyratory is only shit because no-one seems to know how to use it. If people filtered gradually as they're supposed to it would work fine. But for some unknown reason that confounds me, everyone has to get into the correct lane the second they reach the gyratory and they usually just stop as they enter from Upper Lewes Road or from Lewes Road southbound and just hold up all the traffic. The vogue gyratory is terrible and the amount of buses moving through seem to compound the problem. Most people tend to need to change lanes at some point on the gyratory and it just doesn't work. Plus people are trying turn into Sainsburys & the BP garage too
Let's look at the evidence, the debris from the Audi boot is all over the outside lane. This includes two appalling tartan granny type blankets indicating a cautious thinking type of person. This all indicates that whilst in the outside lane Mr Slowcoach maybe saw the overhead camera, thought it was a speed camera as some do, rather than security/control and slowed excessively causing the other car to run into it's back...
Other theories welcome
I stop to get in the correct lane, because it's only a short space to get in the right lane, and most people don't let you pull across. The gyratory is only shit because no-one seems to know how to use it.
