Does anyone have any ideas for an interesting venue for a wedding and reception in the area - 20 miles vicinity or so. I am checking out Marwell Zoo/Hall in the coming weeks. Looking for somewhere reasonably nice but perhaps very slightly quirky - no need for religious connections!

Not really the druid stuff, just having driven down the A32 for the best part of 18 months to get to work a few years back, I would guess there are some decent venues around places like West Meon.

There were certainly some good pubs.

It's a bit further afield, but Careys Manor in Brockenhurst is really nice.

Botley Grange in Hedge End is also OK.

I know, spent the best part of my final year in the Dolphin by St Denys, then down to Lennon's, then at 2am off to Manzels (sp) for a late night ruby.
