3. Bournemouth.............

Here is one for the serious followers of stats.......when was the last time that three south coast clubs occupied the top three spots of any Division?

My guess is ...never before.

Even though I don't like being back in second place, it is one in the eye for the rest of the country (especially the northeners) :p

Top 2 would be an excellent season...this division is harder to win than it was a couple of years ago. Any one of 6 or 7 can win it whereas there was only 2 other real contenders in our championship season if I recall. And one of those cheated their way to promotion

Plymouth fully deserve to be top of a very poor division. They've scored shed loads of goals in the last 4 games, only lost 1 in the last 13 and haven't lost 4-0 to Brentford. This division is turning into one of the Scottish leagues from last year where a couple of defeats could take you into the relegation places but a couple fo wins could take you top. Anybody can beat anybody which makes for great entertainment but poor quality teams.

Why is Sturrock never mentioned when jobs come along? Why do they always want our managers?

Sturrock will be on huge wages as Plymouth have to pay hefty relocation expenses to cover the cost of moving to the sticks.

Probably why clubs at our level don't look at him.

And Fuckwit Madejski aside (who was just trying to piss us off), clubs above our level don't generally go for lower league managers as there's too much pressure to get a big name.
