Putting aside the blue & white tainted glasses for a minute, Coppell has to decide between staying in an undecided and therefore uncertain environment as regards the stadium. Or going to a scenario where that uncertainty does not exist. The first rule of business is to seek certainty. From that perspective, Coppell has to consider other offers.
However, if he can believe as we all do that DK will definitely deliver Falmer, then that problem can be removed from his decision making process. But as much as we believe something will happen, uncertainty remains.
The other thing is that Falmer has to be 3 years away and how many managers stay in the same job that long these days in football?
All the belief that he is definitely gone comes from speculative journalists. Right now, it is very much unclear. He could well stay with us and until I hear otherwise from an official source, Coppell gets my support.
