Crystal Palace boss Iain Dowie has told Premiership clubs that striker Andrew Johnson will not be leaving the Eagles during the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old striker has been linked with a number of top-flight sides, while a £5.5m bid from West Ham in December was snubbed by the side.

"There is no chance of AJ leaving during the window," said Dowie.

"If we want to a Premiership return, we need to keep our best players here - and AJ is certainly one of those."

No not really we are a big enough club without him and have enough depth within our squad to make it big without him.

Dowie is fighting a losing battle. AJ is primed to leave. Sutton has just gone to Birmingham, so they are out of the race for him, Pompey are still sniffing. Not sure if it will be a loan or a permanent move, but AJ will not be playing for Palace next season.

A heated debate had ensued at the forum when the second round of drinks were purchased and the bar ran out of Babycham.

When they deny someone is available it normally means they are.

Quasimodo is sat in his study and once again is feeling depressed about how ugly he is. Looking for some reassurance, he goes in search of Esmerelda. When he finds her he asks her once again if he really is the ugliest man alive.
