I know it goes against the grain a bit, asking questions regarding the Albion, but can someone please confirm the Albion squad when we played Wet Sham in the FA Cup in January 2007. In particular I am trying to work out who was captain in that game.

Ta in advance.

Brighton, United Kingdom
Albion: (4-4-2) Henderson; O'Cearuill, Lynch, Butters, Mayo; Fraser (Hart 51), Hammond, El-Abd, Frutos (Rents 67); Revell (Gatting 84), Robinson. Subs not used: Kuipers (GK), Carpenter.

so either Hammond or Butters I reckon

Next question, do you know on which arm DH (or GB) used to wear the captains armband?

TLO, Sorry!

Must drop Bing and go back to Google, Bing images didn't seem to have hardly any of him as Albion player. And also, I still can't find out who was captain for that match, on Bing or Google.

f*** me, other than Butters and Lynch, that team really was utter TOILET.
No wonder we got raped. I can't believe I went there thinking we had a chance of getting a replay :jester:

Mind you, Wet Sham played their illegal RINGER against us that day.

Hammond.

Match report: West Ham 3 Albion 0 From The Argus)

Yep, that's right, all defenders or defensive-minded midfielders. Hammond does not always fall into that category but it was accurate on this occasion. Most of the captain's best work was done inside his own half.

(Don't all captains wear the armband on the left?)

Hammond was IMMENSE in that game. One of his best performances for the club.
