Something Silly if we get promoted

I get really annoyed that every time the sport comes on the local news, we are always mentioned after SCC and Pompey. Fair enough, Pompey are in a higher division but we;ve been ahead of SCC all season and yet they still get "first plug".
So how do people feel about a mass mailing to Meridian or South East today as soon as we are promoted (assuming we don't slip up) ?
Anyone up for it ?

Football roundup on BBC South yesterday evening was from Dean Court, where Bournemouth got 1st plug, I think we were 3rd or maybe 4th after Reading and Pompey. Bournemouth manager sounded so very dull compared to Gus btw, but must be doing something right

The Charlton thing pisses everyone off. They are a London club end of! Right by Thames barrier and further north than Millwall and the Scumbags.

All this is nothing new as we have always been the poor relations in regards to the other 3 South Coast teams...Hopefully when we overtake Pompey and are the best team on the South Coast they will be unable to ignore us.

Sounds like I live in a similar area to you. Gillingham are nearly always first and Charlton (whom are looking at any map a London club) are always second (eventhough 10 years ago they were never mentioned as a local SE team!). Brighton maybe might get a mention third.

Hopefully we wii get our (Brighton) own news coverage when the digital shake up happens next year. I think its Channel Six, but there will be local (and I mean local), programming. So, no more news from Chandlers Ford and Oxford.
