It's nowt to do with the route, it'll be policing and numbers .... can't support two big events at the same time.

It's Marathon weekend so we've got lots of build up races on Saturday.

Marathon events arn't just one race anymore.

Park & rides won't be available because of setting up. It takes longer than 12 hours to put up barriers, marquees, temporary toilets etc

The truth is, no one has a clue why the game has been moved to a friday night with no TV coverage!
