Some div two sides have better teams than us

Bristol, tranmere, swindon, sheff wed plus a few others have better sides than us at the moment
walsall had a better side than us when they went down as well

Having been in all three lower divisions in recent times, can we honestly say there's much to choose between the top half of Div 3, all of Div 2 and the bottom eight in Div 1?

(I'm ignoring all Coca-Cola terminology here for ethical reasons).

No that isn't necessarily the case. We got 'lucky' as Swindon and Bristol City would say.

Actually I agree with Max's Dad that there is little difference between the top ones in div 2 and the lower ones in div 1.

Few teams have the class to be good every week, and 'poor' teams can put in spirited performances against one of the 'good' teams and come away with all the points.

Loads of teams have come up from Division Two and made an impact in Division One.
The gap isn't that much between the two division.
When we came up with you we lost 3 from our first 4 games, and still finished 4th.
I wouldn't worry so much.

if crewe and stoke can stay up comfortably after tthe play offs, so can we. We won division 2 then we won th eplay offs, its clear to me we're not suppose to be in division 2! and like to hark said in another thread, we really need to try and stay in the league for the sake of falmer too!

But how much money did you spend to put things right?

We signed Matty Upson on loan, for about £12,000 a week.
We then had Steve Brown on a free.
After that we had Luke Chadwick for 3 months.

So it all went on wages.

Not quite nothing. . . .we have signed players that McGhee feels will benefit us in this division, although the early signs are not as good as they can be , it's still to early to pass judgement.
