Only listened on radio so missed that. What was the Veltman like shitehousery?
In the final minutes the Mancunian Trevor Chalobah challenged March who went down rather easily. To quickly get the ball in position for the FK, the United player tried to take it from Solly who locked it between his legs. Solly then decided to be upset about these attempts to retrieve the ball and made a (timewasting) scene out of it. Maybe got a little bit too caught up with it as his hands reached for a United players throat and another second or two of that he'd been off. Luckily Veltman noticed that March was getting too hot and moved in to defuse it. Probably saying "be cool, he's already dead" or something.

It appears that Solly has been spending some time learning some alternative skills from Veltman! 😂😂😂😂
It highlighted how much we have missed having a bit of maturity and dare I say it, intelligence, on the pitch to see out a win. Lovely stuff. Also wasn’t surprised to Joel first on the scene when they were squaring up to Solly. Lovely stuff.

Yeh yeh, there was a bit of leaving the goodie two shoes apart with Sol today.

But isn't the headline to come out of Solly's appearance today "Solly March is bloody good"?

I think you'll find that the headline is that 'Solly March, local lad and Premier League star, is f***ing brilliant' (copyright bozza).

Ruled out for the remainder of the season, had his knee cleaned out and needs to recover.
Poor guy. It’s been one injury after another.

I've always had a soft spot for Solly.

He was the first player for the Albion who was younger than my son when we first saw him and he has very occasionally hit the heights every Albion supporter knows he is capable of. He was, quite rightly one of the Holy Trinity along with Lewis and Pascal and he is still only 30 years old.

A very quiet, modest local lad, who has had the most horrendous injury record. We are desperate for experience and I can't wait for next season's first team announcement

I heard that on Sat. I was just hoping the persons source wasn't actually ITK. I feel sad for him (and us). 🙁

On the plus side, having had an arthroscopy to clean out scar tissue (which I assume is what is meant by a “clean out”) it’s a pretty minor operation and is likely to give him much more freedom and less pain. Presumably timed so he can have a full pre season and we have little to play for now (unless you’re very optimistic). Remain hopeful we see him at full throttle next season.
