I do wonder about solicitors. They're obviously capable people but with things like conveyancing and probate, FFS at least be contactable when you're charging so much. They're the reason house sales take so long - open a letter = 1 week, reply to letter = 1 week.

one solicitor who conveyed one of our property deals in sydney lived on a 18 mtr yacht and lived on red wine and cigars ....he made Roly Burkin look a picture of health but at least he replied when we asked him a question...ffs.

we can't walk away ...all the forms have been lodged , the solicitor is the executor.

hmmmm that may not be as easy as you make it sound.

Feel for you. You do have the option of making a complaint to the SRA and they will have to respond to that and failing that the legal ombudsman. Although I can guess they will just blame everything on Covid19
