I don't give a toss about all of the moaning bastards on here. Moan. go for it. Knock yourselves out.

I'm just thinking back over what has been the best season in all of my time supporting the Albion.

We've got a beautiful stadium which is about to get even better, a training facility to rival the best in the country is on it's way, we're playing great football under an exceptional young manager, about to finish the highest we've finished in years and are planning on really pushing for promotion to THE PREMIER LEAGUE next year.

Oh and we've got to watch f***ing VICENTE play for the Albion. VI-CEN-TE... Not Robbie Savage, not Phil Stant, but VICENTE. Am I dreaming?

Next season we'll be able to build on the lessons we've learned during this one. We will be better. We'll have even better players.

It really REALLY doesn't get much better than this.
Balls to it. I'm gonna do a dance.

Another nsc regular said before the reading game that he thought that brighton had peaked,it looks like he was right. This could have been as good as it gets.
We seem to be unable to replicate some of our early play ironically those periods of great football could not be maintained over 90 minutes, games i'm thinking of leeds, palace and liverpool.
Our best footie in parts but no return. its been a 7/10 season for me.

What he said.

Yes, there have been dips and times where things haven't gone as well as we would have liked, but its been a bloody brilliant season and I cannot wait to see what next season brings.

For better or worse its never dull with the Albion.

i am getting sick and tired of people f***ing moaning about the team, if they want to watch Champions League quality of football, then watch Chelsea or Real Madrid.

Brighton are a Championship side that have finished in the top 10 in there first season back in the league. We have a fantastic new stadium, and a great Manager. There is a bit of Dead wood, but the summer clear out will solve that. In GUS we trust. Seagulls!!!!!

Spot on!

What I love, and only realised last night, is that this has to be the first time in my Albion days that I've seen us have a great side, and I'm honestly going into the off season expecting us to come out with an even better side next season. Other than when we've been complete cack, I go into summers bricking it about a key player who will surely leave, and we won't be the same team. 1991 was the classic example, where missing out on promotion meant that side would inevitably get cherry picked and torn apart. Sure enough relegation the next season.

It's always been someone I've feared would go and it would fall apart, Ward, Lawro, Grease, Fozzie, through to Zamora. Blimey, even when we were cack, I was worried about losing Jeff Minton. I always go into teh summer worried, but this year I haven't wanted it to end, and yet, I'm looking at teh summer that will bring even better players, and an even bigger stadium.

My cup runneth over.

Agree has been a amazing season. In fact, in 30 years following the club this has been the best SEASON I can remember. Yes there have been other great moments but as whole season this has been the nuts - Donny, 5 games v prem teams, Burnley, Cardiff away, Leeds, Stains on NYD there's just been so many highlights and despite the odd dodgy patch we've looked the business as a consistent top 10 championship side.

Gus is right, when can we remember having it so good? That said if you want to boo, you've paid your money so you can boo if you want, alough in the words of Alan Partridge it still makes you a "compleme cunm".

I have loved it this season & I can't say how proud I am to have a season ticket! I'm not in the best of health so getting up the slope & steps to the bus is a bit tough but I wouldn't change it for the world. We're learning - & whilst I'd have liked to have been premiership next season I wouldn't like to have the experience QPR look like they're going to have. A few new players next season & who knows?

Which home game was it when it was really cold?
There was a moment in that game. I was sat in the front row, feet up on the wall, flask of bovril on the go & I thought "this is one of the best times I've ever had watching the Albion".

Can't wait for next year 26,000 crowds playing Bolton, wolves , Blackburn , charlton , sheff utd ,sheff wed (prob new teams in div next year ) some good grounds to visit there , plus playing Leeds , Leicester , Ipswich, forest, palace, west ham or birmingham again can't wait for fixture list already also in the summer the transfer Market will be exciting to see who we buy and sale .

I still have a feeling that somehow, someone is going to take The Amex away.

Every time I walk up to the stadium I just get this feeling that it can't be ours, I get to the concourse and order BEER, drink my BEER and look at the weather through GLASS, if it's raining I don't get WET, order a pie and eat it with a FORK, take my seat which is PADDED, look up and see a ROOF, watch the game and see VICENTE.

What a season.!!!!!!!

No, surely this can't last.
