Aren't Forest owned by a Greek guy? I accept that if you're rich enough to own a Premier League club then you've probably got some skeletons in your closet, but at least it's not a sportswashing, petrol-dollar laundering enterprise (and I appreciate that that probably isn't saying much).

Yeah, I was vaguely aware of him and the stories, and having just read his Wikipedia entry it was as I suspected: he ain't no Tony Bloom. Yes in an ideal world he'd be nowhere near the reigns of an English football club, but he's certainly no worse than a lot of other owners clubs have had over the decades. No I wouldn't want him at Brighton, but if you put a gun to my head I'd pick him over Man City's owners.

OK, but at the moment, he's among the worst in the Premier League, and terrible enough that I'm not about to cheer any of his clubs on if I don't have to.

I've got to know the owner of the place we stay in Greece every year really well. He's a Panathinaikos fan (football and basketball - which is huge in Greece). We always have a number of football related discussions when we are out there. He has a lot to say on Marinakis ... going into far more detail than is on Marinakis' wikipedia page. He believes Olympiakos effectively bought the championship in Greece for a number of years and got away with ... well ... lots of things.
