Why would you want to pay them off??
Okay Trolley is a waste of space, but the other two are okay. Bloody hell, if Reid got a regular spot/position, he'd be a great player for us.

I wouldnt, i was posing the question as someone else suggested they might be on the way out.

I dont know, would that free up allocations in the playing budget for wages on other players, maybe by loaning them out.

Also im not sure when their contracts run out- i thought McCammon at least signed an 18 month deal when he signed from Milwall thus he would be out of contract this seasons end.

Well if we've paid them off then thats less money to spend on new players coming in as it will have gone on paying up the remainder of their contracts. Yes we could loan them out but there is no guarentee anyone would want them or would want to pay 100% of their wages.

Nicolas - Give him one if he is willing to stay.

Oatway, Chippy, Mayo, Hart, Butters - Give them all another year, good experienced players.

McPhee - Let him go. Or maybe a three month deal to give him one last chance a la Dean Hammond.

Dodd - Not worked out with injuries.

McCammon- f*** off.

Yes, I agree it is a tricky conundrum.

Having read Insiders comments on ask the club it is clear that McCammon, Reid and Nicolas have more time.

Therefore the only one from my list is McPhee to go.

Please Race, we don't need to know all the sordid details of your private life, what happens behind closed doors has nothing to do with us .:p

What about Adam El-Abd. His deal runs out in the summer. I'd personally give him a two year extension until 2008!

I would give one year extensions to Kerry, Charlie and Tank (if he wants to keep on playing) two years to OGH. I would release Dodd and McPhee and seriously consider doing the same with Chippy. Of all those who I would want to keep it is purely because I think they are the type of player who will dig in and produce the goods if we go down and hopefully ensure that we don't go through Div 1 like shit through a goose. We would then be assured the right balance of youth and experience to at least maintain our position.

All of this would change if by some amazing turn of fate we avoid the drop, then I would want to reconsider.

We haven't found a decent replacement for Harding yet, what makes you think we could find 2 quality left backs?

Thats the whole point I dont think we will! We have had more than enough time to get a new lb in by now and we don't even seem too concerned about the fact we haven't done so. Lynch and one other would do me fine then we could release Kerry, until then keep him.

No plans to pack it in just yet, he'd love another years extension.

Kerry Mayo - 1 year, could be useful for cover in defence or centre of midfield.

Richard Carpenter -

Charlie Oatway- 1 year, diffinitely need a player like Charlie in the dressing room.

Guy Butters- 1 year, diffinitely worth it because he has been utterly superb this season.

Gary Hart 1 year shown he is a good utility player

Chris McPhee -

Jason Dodd -
