f*** me, I can't believe people are moaning about this already, speculating what's going to happen.

We've seen in past seasons - the club will announce a policy, let's wait and see what that is before laying into them.

Seconded - it's unbelieveable that people are moaning ALREADY!!!

I really hate people who never/rarely go but will suddenly be wetting themselves over this game. Already one or two have appeared tonight. All STHs will obviously get a ticket so I'm not worried, but I do hope the club distribute the remaining 3,000 tickets fairly.

I was a STH for past 11 years until this season. But the reason I'm not now a STH is so I could get a ticket for these such games more easily. My cunning gamble has worked a treat.

Well there are going to be 7,000 HOME tickets available. Obviously the 4,000 season ticket holders will be able to buy one, so I expect half of the 7,000 to go straight away. You then have 3,000-3,500 left, of which a few will go to the blue members. From then, I agree with you. Instead of giving them to white members (who don't have to pay any money or attend any matches to be in that category), I'd say people who can provide TWO home stubs get first pick, and those that provide ONE can snap up the rest. As you say, it's a perfect chance to get a few fairweathers along to the home games with Orient and Scunthorpe.
There's 8000 home tickets isn't there? Capacity is just under 9000, away end holds 900 and with it being in Shoreham there's no need for any segregation obviously.

You could comfortably sell every season ticket holder, blue member, and people who are neither but went to Barnet, a ticket and have loads left over for general sale.

There should be no room for any tantrums - as long as the club can manage print and send all the tickets, and let people into the ground before midnight. :)

So basically, NOONE. We've just drawn a Premiership team at home and you think 3 threads is a problem? What a load of rubbish. I haven't seen a single person MOAN about tickets whatsoever, largely because most people are pretty confident they'll get one.

"Have 2 Season Tickets but went with a group of 3 from my family last night. Considering we all go to plenty of matches I'll be pissed off if we don't get 3 tickets. I'll be even more pissed off if the club don't acknowledge the fact that I don't have a Barnet stub because of their incompetence, and arrange another way of verifying people's attendance (ie card payments), whether it's more effort or not.

Perhaps as an apology to those who queued outside against Barnet the club could offer the same prices as against Barnet to those who braved the ticket pick-up service."

Just stuff like that - people going on about young seagulls, away allocations and stuff. I don't see why we can't at least wait and see the clubs actions before we look to slag them off. Ken Brown must have been tempted kill himself when he saw the draw - if one person doesn't get tickets, then i'm sure it'll all be his fault!

...people going on about young seagulls

That was a genuine question. How does it work if a young seagull (who has priority for cup tickets) wants to go to the game, but his/her chaperone is neither a gold/blue member? The priority issue was being discussed and the club do not seem to have catered for this.

Quite simple.

If the kid qualifies then automatically one adult would get a priority allocation too.

As long as it's kept at one adult per family surname it shouldn't cause any problems.

Cut off point should also be dated. from today! Otherwise there will be loads of applications going in that might not have!

As this match will be played in the same week as the other 3rd round games and we have home games v Walsall and Cheltenham before and after , why doesn't the club make it a 2 game ticket for non STH's ? STH's are guaranteed their cup ticket anyway and the priority blue scheme members could then have the option of purchasing a ticket for the cup and a designated game. This would deter the glory hunters anyway as they're most likely not in the blue scheme.
