Bloke next to me. Single seat not often occupied. Didn’t acknowledge us coming out at all but immediately started videoing through his phone when they came out. Which made me boo them a bit louder.

Stood up for our first two goals without cheering, didn’t sing, constantly filmed the away end but otherwise behaved. And he missed their second getting a pie.

The third goal did him though. Face like thunder when it went in. Left on the VAR confirmation :lolol:

Didn’t see any in N1D. Did have a Japanese tourist who was clearly disappointed at the starting 11s - the delight on his face when Mitoma came on was a sight, never seen someone take so many photos of one player. Managed to film the goal and celebrations after as well. When Endo came on to mark Mitoma I don’t think he glances away from the west stand touchline area at all.

Looks like I might have been unlucky. And by unlucky, I mean getting to boo his team coming through a guard of honour, celebrate three goals in his face and call the ref a red shirt wearing corrupt c**t when he pulled back an advantage from an offside*.

*actually thought ref had a decent game in the main. I’d much rather a non card waver than an over enthusiastic card waver.

Yep in E1B there were loads but they all behaved. I still think it’s a strange decision to pay to watch your team when you can’t support them. I won’t lie I’ve done it but that was before I could watch us on the TV.

Had a couple of those over the years. They always get a hug of appreciation and pat on the back when we score!!!

Not tonight..... but for the first game this season, Man Utd (the 'other one of them") - I was told by a regular who sits near me that she had agreed to accompany a Man Utd "one of them" , and as the seat next to me was vacant, he would be sitting next to me ... I thought "thank you VERY much"!..... he was a 15 year old kid, about 6 foot ...and had absolutely ZERO sense that he should curb his allegiances, so I sat next to this bloke yelling "Cmon Rashford!! " or "Bruno..." or whoever of those fuckers were attacking.......and then we scored.... and I'm ashamed to say I over celebrated madly in front of a 15 year old kid , to my shame. And then, again when Welbeck scored in the last seconds !
I actually over celebrated in front of a 15 year old kid. Quite embarrassing really, for a 60 year old to admit.

No plastic scousers near me in wsu, though I did have a rather attractive Swedish lady and her parents next to me . They were overjoyed when Ayari scored.

I havent been to a match since the late 80's (heck of a long way for a home game;)). Just the thought of opposing fans sitting together is simply astonishing. I remember my first AFL match Circa 1990 and was stunned by the fact that on the way to the ground there were virtually no police and all the fans were mingled. As much as you folk don't like it, that this is possible without people being hospitalised is something to cheer about. Next step will be regular banter between the fans as there is here (afl that is not "soccer" A league fans still need to grow up)

As an aside whenever I was able to visit Ma and Pa it was out of season. Hopefully I can make one last trip to the UK (both have passed) and get to watch the Albion at the Amex
