Smith is a very good keeper and will do well for Brighton if he gets the chance. I can't understand some people, everybody that is slagging him off is playing their part in hindering Brighton's progress. A goalkeepers confidence is very important, lets just hope he doesn't read this site. If he does I hope he realises that it represents only a very small percentage of the Brighton fan base.

I like the lets get behind the team not attack them mentality. But we have to be honest, he is not a very good keeper based on the form he has shown to date. It may be he can get confidence and come good, we have seen England internationals that have been good and lost it and looked very bad, it happens. Maybe Smith will turn out to be very good, we all want it to happen, but he is not in the correct form to be palying for us against Leeds on Saturday.

I am undecided about Smith he appears to be a good shot stopper but is not very vocal and I am not sure the defence know what he or them are supposed to be doing. Whose ball it is etc.

Chez, if my granny was signed as a keeper for BHA, you'd prefer her to FDM...and she's dead!
