That'll be England fans booing him, just as it was in the semi.

The rest of the world doesn't give a flying one about who complained about Rooney stamping on someone. Ronaldo is England's excuse for exiting the WC, everyone else just think it was SGE's fault that we were shit and Rooney's fault that we didn't get a chance to challenge the Portuguese properly.

It does appear that he's disliked, many supporters of other countries saw how he behaved vs us and just dislike him now.
A bit like how Figo was booed for his headbutt, before the game v England.

Fans seem to be pretty-much shaming players who act badly, and in the trail of supporters being seen as well-behaved. There's a definite do-gooder side to fandom suddenly, and that means that players are under pressure to be completely sporting too.

Somehow, Thierry Henry hasn't had any stick for his diving - but then he did also do it against Portugal, so it was already forgivable there.

To be fair that's bullshit. We went out because we weren't good enough, no one is denying that. Ronaldo is getting stick because he is a cheating c*nt.

Judging by the volume of the boos last night, it was more then just the English. Even big Phil seemed to get fed up with it last night.

Indeed you did. Yawn.

Yeah, boring old competition anyway, who wants to go tae the World Cup when you can get your pleasure waiting for England to get eliminated. :nono:

I'd MUCH rather have a team that struggles against football powers like the Faroe Islands and gets to revel in the eventual loss from our neighbour :clap2:

wha's like us, eh?

He was a cheating c*nt BEFORE the WC, so why's he getting so much stick NOW?
