Terrific appointment, of the realistic candidates he was the best man for the job.

Unfortuantely the cooker blew up on Monday so I am out with the better half tomorrow buying a new one although I will be at Brisbane Road in spirit.

I'm pretty happy with that decision, as people have said before the key now is that we all get behind him starting on saturday!

Does anyone know exactly how many tickets we have been given and how many will be available for purchase on the gate?

Great appointment, always thought Yeovil looked well organised under him. God knows why we even bothered going for Ince, Slade should always have been second choice behind Gannon.

His record speaks for itself, decent appointment. Keep us up this year and you get a new deal, I spose.

Oh right so he WAS on the list all along. At the bottom under the ketchup stain?

Anyhoo, Mendoza is right, let's all get to Orient and give it some, Scott McGleish, is a wanker, is a wanker!

Amen to that. Assuming it is still legal to abuse players in these Campbellesque days.

In fairness what did you expect him to say. "I didn't think much of Russell but when everybody else turned us down he was the only one left"? Of course he is going to say he was high on his list all along

He didn't HAVE to say anything. Why not leave it at "Could do a job?" But as I say, enough sniping, time to roll up the sleves and get out of the bottom 4 and I reckon with big Russ in charge we are stayin up I say we are stayin up!

That is probably the reason Slade got the job then... Because he was the only one to want to work with Dick's mates... I'm pleased Slade is the manager but I don't think he'll achieve much working with those two.

So long as he don't want to bring that wanker Jones back here.

Very happy with this appointment. The guy obviously is a fighter, knows this Division and how to do well in it.

It makes sense that is short-term as well. Obviously, it gives him a chance to win a long-term contract, but if he is not the right man to take the Club forward to Falmer the Club can look at their options in the summer.
