That would require Colchester to get 6 points or less from their remaining games. Huddersfield 9, Bristol Rovers 13 and us winning every game. Improbable unfortunately.

We can finish on 71 points. I don't care if that's not enough to make the play offs, but would absolutley love it if it was enough to over take leeds...

*This would require them not winning and a goal difference improvement of 33 goals. Doable? Not likely, but I can dream!

And I thought Southampton were deluded for thinking they still had a chance.

It's all about momentum now that will hopefully carry forward into the new season.

A good finish will do wonders for season ticket renewals.

We have as much chance of being relegated

The targets are:
to finish in the top half
to finish the season with more wins than losses
to finish the season with a positive goal difference

and possibly, to finish above Southampton.

I will admit to looking at the table to see if it was possible on Saturday, and decided it was not. Time to sign up the players who will make it happen next year

What we're doing is not dissimilar to what Reading have done in the Championship, although they started a bit earlier. I think they were four points adrift at the bottom in January, just as we were in deep trouble at the start of February.

And like Reading v West Brom last Saturday, we have a match-up between two of the division's three in-form sides this week.
