Advice for these boys should be left here as they struggle through during the next couple of weeks.


Actually its a lot easier to give up nowadays if you do happen to frequent the odd public house because of the ban.

I shall be giving up this weekend. I was hoping to give up tomorrow, but I have a wedding to go to and no doubt there will be cigars passed around.

I can't believe I am gasping at the price of nicorette patches/gum yet happy to spend money on cigarettes.

You need at least a couple of weeks clear of alcohol in any large quantities when you do give up because the booze will make you weak.
Best to do it when the social life is a tad quiet.

Going to be tricky as the next 6 weeks are booked up with a wedding, birthdays and general debauchery. Still, I will give it a shot as it is far easier to put it off.
