This simply can't be allowed to continue. The numbers are truly shocking.
Who started it? How did they facilitate it? How did they propose to deal with it?

Now you are a Farage man I suppose you are relaxed that the answer to all those questions is:
The Tories; by doing Brexit and nothing else; something sumpthink Rwanda.

Farage's solution will be to do nothing, or drown them.
Simple clear patriotic policies.
:shootself

It was the then Home Secretary Priti Patel who tabled that idea. As I understand it, it was vetoed by Boris as too extreme.
Yep that’s the one, all we can hope for is rough weather and heavy seas to deter them then, 2025 will be a record breaking year if today is anything to go by, all on Starmers watch.

Imagine if the grifters stirring up this shot focussed on actually doing something worthwhile to change the lives of working people.

Jimmy the giant talks about the opportunity in his latest video (from about 27 minutes if you don't want to watch it all).

We have an amazing opportunity to come together and use our numbers to fix some major problems.

Jimmy the Giant, Gary's economics and even Punters Politics in Australia are part of a wider movement that are standing up for ordinary working people against the grifters.

I feel more confident that these fellas are doing more for people than the 'look, brown people in boats' brigade.

If anyone is interested in this stuff, I am trying to amplify some of these voices on Blue Sky

Not been at it long but would love a follow or two to help me along.

I’m beginning to think whoever it was in the last government who suggested a wave machine was not far off the mark 😦
And how many deaths are palatable for this, in your opinion?

What safeguards are you putting in place to prevent death or injury to other users of the Channel (such as cross channel ferries, private boats and commercial shipping)?

How much additional tax are you prepared to pay for this, and where should it be levied (I personally believe an additional levy on purchases of the Mail, Express, Telegraph, Sun, Times and Spectator)?

How do you square this with international maritime law, or are you proposing we break this because we're above the law?

How do you square this with the commitments of our UN membership, or are you proposing pulling us out of that organisation?

What technology are you using to make this work? Or is this something that just works because we want it to?

Woah now, this is very in-depth thinking for such populist bullshit rhetoric.

Next, you'll be asking for justification for the popularity of Farage 🤣

This discussion simply cannot cope with delving any deeper than 'there are X number of brown people in boats crossing the channel"

Absolutely! When the traffickers are packing people on to inflatable boats, they should of course go through rigorous health and safety checks before launching them on their voyage.
Just need the French to organise it. Shouldn't be a problem.

I’m beginning to think whoever it was in the last government who suggested a wave machine was not far off the mark 😦

So after years of you constantly campaigning and voting to increase immigration, and forcing people into people smugglers and channel crossings directly resulting in

Boat Crossings
(Numbers weren't recorded prior to 2018 as the government thought them inconsequential).
2018 - 299
2019 - 1,890
2020 - 8,466
2021 - 28,526
2022 - 45,755
2023 - 29,437
2024 - 36,816

You've now decided it's not sufficient to force these poor sods into the channel, and you want to straight out murder them in the channel ?

It's lucky I just think you're a c*** because if I'm sure if I called you a c*** that would break NSC rules
