So by your logic it's ok to lose as long as we keep playing well ? If we are bottom of the league at Christmas but playing well, will you still quote stats at me and say it's ok as we are still improving ?

I don't believe we will be bottom of the league at Christmas. However, if you do, I will happily bet with you that we won't be?

To Kev, of course points matter- I am merely pointing out that assuming our sending off record improves dramatically and those stats become a general average of all our games over the course of the season, our league position should steadily improve.

This season I am more than happy for a mid table place. Next season I would actually want promotion.

Also, how should Slade go about this "discipline problem"? We aren't being sent off for punching players, we have just had a couple of bad tackles. I don't believe Slade can influence that very much.

Would have to be a great manager to win with 10 players most games.

We have the basis of a good side. Murray fit and playing, Jimmy Mac on the pitch, eleven men for all 90 minutes and this is easily a mid-table plus side.

How will sacking Slade make things better? How was it his fault that we went down to 10 men before the half hour? We were playing as well as MK Dons until that point.

Maybe the players should be more positionally aware so they don't find themselves in positions where they have to make stupid or desperate challenges? Where does that come from-bearing in mind how thick some lower league players can be?

Right, if Slade goes Booker and White have to go. I will not stand for Slade to go and them to stay.

I dont know how he goes about the problem, as it is not my job.But it is Slades job and something is clearly wrong.5 reds a season would be average, we are not even 10 games in and getting suspesions all over the place...Im just totaly pissed, i really thought today we would start to turn the corner and yet again it hasnt happened.

Slade has to have a quiet word with Slade, and sort out those dodgy tackles Slade's making. The red cards are killing us, and Slade should know better.

I expect Slade to start the next game on the bench, or even be banished to the reserves. If Slade starts Slade next game, he deserves the chop.

I'm guessing this is all coming from those who wernt actually at the match......
I was and while i accept we played well and had the better of chances something is not working. There are teams above us that are grinding out results on tiny budgets, we are a club that should be going places and for the first time in as long as i can remember we have proper financial backing, theres no time to be sentimental with regards to slade, improvement in results or the axe for me.

Lets not get into the "how many games have you been to" subject, ive spent tens of thousands over the years following club, and been to almost every ground in the contry with Albion, apart from most of the ones in the Prem for obvious reasons!!

So have you been to a game???

The improvement on the pitch speaks for itself the lack of coaching quality is a completely different issue to the manager

We ARE playing a whole lot better than last season , FACT.
Why are BB and DW still allowed to coach as they are clearly not up to the job and haven't been for a least a couple of seasons.

Did you watch them last season? Have you seen them this season? If so, why do you disagree? We still should have got something out of today, even though we went down to 10 men.

Bizarrely I don't think we can judge them team yet. It will be great to see our full strength squad, when we finally have it and by all accounts I don't think that it's far away.

Yes and Yes. The performance at Huddersfield (yes I was there) was THE WORST I have ever seen from an Albion team and I have been supporting the Albion since 1976. It should have been double figures. We just seem to be trotting out the same old excuses every week, its just like last season over again where we sleepwalked into near relegation.

If we are not careful we will be like Darlington with a first rate stadium and a third (or fourth) rate team.

i'm sick of hearing ( and saying) we deserve more from games, it's time for lucky draws & spawny victories, lets get a few places up the league before we worry about the style/quality of football we play. Its pathetic that after 10 games we're behind the likes of exeter & gillingham considering the amount of money spent.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... It does not matter who the manager is if they are going to be handicapped by having to work with the dynamic duo, they couldn't coach pie eating to fat kids!

What are you basing that opinion on, other than that other people have said the same thing before?

Good decision by Slade to stick with two forwards and not sacrifice one when El Abd was sent off.
