My main reasons are:
-better manager
-more talented players
-playing much better football
-good options up front
-a couple of pretty competent wingers
-options on the bench
-we will have a solid back 4 when we finally get to play the best 4 for a run of games (whing, tommy, tunni, jimmy mac)
But despite all this we still have defeatist fans who are a big obstacle to overcome. Remember when teams hated coming to withdean? I don't think it's any coincidence that the loss of the "withdean factor" has happened when a lot of fans love to get on the players/clubs back so quickly.
There is no point shooting the messenger. El A this week was a prat for going in studs up, last week Virgo was his slow lumbering self to get sent off, and we have had 5 sent off in about 11 games - almost a sending off every two games. Its not my fault that our professional footballers (that do sod all but kick a ball about all day) dont know how to and how not to tackle. What the fck are they doing in training?
