I was there that day, remember Noddy Holder getting loads of stick from the North Stand. You should make every young person under the age of 25 watch this, god I miss those days. No bloody I-Phones, X-Boxes, or Wii's. The know - it - all twenty somethings on NSC could learn a thing or two.

And I'm only 39

a mate of mine bumped into Noddy Holder in a pub in portugal in the summer and asked him if he remembered Slade playing at the Goldstone. He did and mentioned how "that bas**d" {in a friendly way} manager {was it Mullery?} made the group join in the training by running round the cinder track.

Nice bloke, sipping tea in a Portugal pub with his wife and son - how times change!
